1. It improves my physical health and keeps me active. Hiking boosts your immune system and helps lower blood pressure. 💚
2. The benefits for my mental health. Being outside helps control my anxiety and improves my mood. I always feel better after a day in the fells ⛰️
3. It helps clear my mind - after a busy week at work, a hectic social calendar and lots of life admin, going for a hike reduces my cortisol levels producing a calming effect 😌
4. Helps me appreciate the world around me and live in the moment. Hiking helps me be present and notice the little things 🍃
5. I visit new places. This year I travelled to the Atlas Mountains through my love of hiking and I’m always visiting new places on my doorstep! 🏞️
